The constantly growing array of online data made it increasingly difficult for GetSmart to accurately predict and analyze market trends, as well as to identify and prepare for emerging opportunities. To address this, we took on the challenge to create an AI solution, that has advanced analytical capabilities and could help to ensure strategies to maintain a competitive edge.

Unstructured data

To support data-driven decision-making, GetSmart collects and stores vast amounts of data in BigQuery. This data comes from diverse sources, like databases, and searches, and its format and structuring vary. To integrate and manage these varied data streams effectively, our vision was to create an AI tool that can convert natural language inputs into SQL queries.

The current workflow is highly manual and resource-demanding. It involves multiple people coordinating, writing SQL queries by hand, executing them, and forwarding the results to decision-makers. This process can be time-consuming and prone to inefficiencies, delaying critical decisions. We knew we had to build a solution that enables business users and analysts to access insights quickly and efficiently.

It runs securely within their GCP environment as a Cloud Run function, integrating seamlessly with existing infrastructure.
